Guest I--RIDE--BIKES
Hey guys, i previously owned an 06 subaru STI which was in a bad accident and is now written off. This is why i am now taking the plunge into the supra world. Ive done a lot of research and hunting and believe I have found a good car. Please look over the pictures and ad description and see if anything looks out of place or improper in any way. When talking to the owner, the only thing he said that was somewhat wrong with it was that during boost there was a slight whistle noise that he believes to be a small boost leak. Also, what kind of Volk wheels are these? Perfect car to get this time of year! It currenly doesn't have a stereo deck installed but can work something out. It is available to be picked up or can arranged shipping at buyers expense. Asking $16,500 OBO. Please, only serious buyers contact, and will get back to you. NO trades. Thanks for looking. Thoughts? Opinions? tony tt
Looks like a nice car and the boost leak could be a very easy fix but id be 100% knowing what it is before buying it. The engine bay needs a good clean aswell.

LOGIE
ya the plan is to get a full inspection done at the Toyota dealership before purchasing it if all goes well. The engine bay looks pretty clean to me haha I dont know what Toyota dealerships are like in Canada but over here its the last place id take my Supra. Are there no Supra specialists near you? or even another Supra owner that knows the cars well enough? Good luck though and Enjoy if you do buy

Its just located 24 hours away form me The engine bay mostly, but all in all just looks uncared for, all the stainless steel in the engine bay looks unpolished as does the wheels, its probobly nothing a good spit and polish wont sort out, it just makes me think other more important things could be uncared for too, imo if your trying too sell a car make an effort to present it properly
Dnk
£10500 !! What service history does it have ? Have any major parts been replaced ? if their still original some could be on their last legs. I hope they give it a thorough inspection underneath, closely looking at all the suspension joints, brake lines, brake calipers, front cross members rot, ac rad, water rad and intercooler condition will all be suspect at this age. Guest I--RIDE--BIKES
Oh ok. This car was just imported from japan about 5 weeks ago. As long as it passes a full inspection, compression test and test drive it should be good to go i would think right.
Dnk
Is this price a good deal in Canada as it's only worth approximately half this in the UK ? Sorry its worth a bit more than half being a 6 speed but get the car properly inspected Edited August 25, 2012 by Dnk (see edit history)

QUOTE] Thing is why is he selling it after 5weeks as it will have been a big layout in money to get it over there, its a 6 speed too, so it may be worth it, just be careful get the inspections done if they come back clear then go for it, ffs polish the s/s though
