bradleyh_15
As above really on the rear, how much will the suspension set up effect the outcome or is it a flat no? I am only asking as iv recently acquired 2 for free from a local porsche garage that I got two front tyres from.
listy
Ummm thats just a tyre size dude. We need offsets and wheel widths to tell you if they will fit the arches. Like the new wheels I will be getting, the rears are 9.5 wide, offset +35. Should be a sticker/ stamped on the wheel somewhere. Oh, and ride will be affected with the 19"s, will become a bit harder. My old wheels were 19"s, and when I put the 18"s on, the ride and handling got much better.
bradleyh_15
Thanks mate I'll check the wheels when I'm home but they have always been on there since I got it. Thought I may need the offset. I usually run 275/30/19 tyres with no issues but I will get more info
bradleyh_15
Right just checked they are 9 1/2J and +38. So will they fit?
bigbloodyturbo
i think you'll struggle to fit 305's on a 9.5j rim anyway
Dnk
275 is the maximum width tyre you should be fitting on a 9.5" wide wheel, the optimum size on a 9.5" wheel is 255 or 265 305 is way to wide and is designed to fit on either an 11.5" or 12" wide wheel or at a stretch on a 12.5" wide wheel Edited August 25, 2012 by Dnk (see edit history)

Luxluc
With the right offset (around 52 on a 11.5 wide rim), a 305 will be OK for stock body. A friend of mine has CCW's in 305 on the rear with stock body.
