Rob_Mitchell
Been having mixed feelings lately on what to do with my car. I know the time is going to come for when i look for house and try to settle down .. I have lost the love a little bit after the banzai photoshoot and been strongly thinking about breaking the car up!! I think i need to man up and tell the missus to do one OR we need to sort a really decent event/meet out so i get the love back. I have started a list with prices! its very fun i must say but i also think i have lost the plot on prices i have paid over the years

keron
Crazy all these Supras being broken Tell me about it! shame really as all of the recent ones have been proper cars! i'd personally try and sell it first, worse case break it...but shame to go this route...get another woman! easier to replace
kwalker705
probably not what you want to hear....but once your in a house and back on your feet finacially you can always jump back into a supra. I sold my pride and joy to help fund my house a few years back and I did regret it a little bit. But it's probably the best decision I've ever made. David P
If you fall in and out of love with women like you do cars, it'll be less hassle to keep the Supra?
johnny g
Jurgen has mine to sell - if it doesn't go in a couple of weeks, it's up for breaking... You've put effort in to it - but the cold light of day is that it's metal. Get on the housing ladder, then steady your finances and buy another as a project. mark newman
mybe your missus is the wrong one , you need one with money, with her own house, that way you keep your car.

mplavery
I felt the same way when i got my Supra how i want it to be and went through the stage of wanting to sell. i think we all do ! I sometimes still do I do find it when i want to go on show'n'shine that its really hard work sorting out the car which takes the fun side of it away. I cant imagine how hard it is to sort yours out ! What ever i get next time wont be so showy thats for sure and be more drivable Though i have got the LOVE bug again and looking forwad geting back on the road Next year im planning on just enjoying driving the thing, going to more cruises etc You will get the LOVE again thats for sure. You have not had a chance to really enjoy it yet and would be a real waste if you got rid of it now keep hold of it for a bit and see how you feel

Will the last one to leave please switch off the servers. H. It is starting to feel like that. We've been away from the club for a while but now looking at joining the fold again so we're back and can't believe how quiet the club is now compared to what it was like 4 or 5 years ago. Tis sad
wallis
I'm the same mate :-( Got to say though I think that many high spec supras have been broken this year it's even a struggle to break them now! I've had no interest in the Guts for my car at all! I'm just weighing up an offer I've had on my car....the issue is the duration it takes to sell the bits and have to keep on looking at it + time and storage.....is it really worth it?? Sometimes needs must though!!

mellonman
Rob your car is finished now so there is n o more out lay,so instead of gold plating everything but that money inthe bank set up at direct debit for 1k every month and get used to being a home own because thats about your morguage everymonth when starting out do that for the year you will have a 12k deposit and be used to paying a morguage. i know meets are failing but the cj run should be a good turn out and in sure you will get the love back

Kaan W
Keep the car in storage and start saving for a house seperately mate. I think it will be alot harder to build another dream car when you have a house to pay for with bills etc. Thats what my goal is why im still young because I know if I start looking into house buying now i'll never have the car I want. And secondly its a blimin georgous car that YOU have built! I think it will be a terrible waste mate I really do....
