Samsar
Hi guys, I've currently got a 94 JSpec Auto and my boss has just said to me out of the blue that he's got a 5 Speed manual box sat in his garage and did I want it.. I'm not the most technically gifted when it comes to things like this so I thought I'd ask the question on here as to how how hard it would be to swap them over and what's generally involved? Any help would be very much appreciated. Cheers Sam
Guigsy
Are you na or tt? What box is it? The w58 struggles with more than stock power. The mk3 5 speed is better but needs extra bits to make it fit You will need all the other bits too.

Guigsy
R154? It's a mk3 box but you can fit them. But it's not a direct fit realy. The shifter has to be extended I think. And you might need an adapter plate? Not 100% but they can be fitted. Not as nice as a w58 box to drive apparently but better than the v160
