thanks guys- your help means so much....

i'm pretty sure the fuse boxs are the same... nearly all the electrical diagrams are for US spec cars, I've been using the US US spec diagrams for my JSpec for years with no problems.

I am yet to see one for a JDM/UK car.

You're very welcome. :)

Unbeknown to you  last Sunday I had a good look through the files that I've accumulated over the years to see if there was anything for RHD, I couldn't find anything.

Just the LHD stuff.

Hi mate, I've just finished wiring up a conversion using a JDM N/A motor & it's still fairly fresh in my mind.

Send me over a PM with an e-mail address & I will send you enough diagrams & connection lists (both N/A & TT) to make you wish you hadn't asked!

Good luck with the conversion!

Alright then, below are the links to the documents that got me through my motor swap.

The first one is a fantastic document that I cannot take any credit for.

I cannot remember where I found it or who put me on to it but it has been flawlessly accurate & has made the whole process go off without a hitch:

The important signals have been highlighted.

For basic operation of the engine only you will need to wire two relays in on the EA1 & EA2 plugs in the engine bay.

I salvaged the matching plug from under the Supra relay box to keep this tidy.

You will also need a handful of 12v & switched 12v signals on the Orange Il1 & Grey IJ1 plugs by the ECU.

These are all detailed in the spreadsheet.

Once you're up & running you can work through the dashboard signals matching up ECU wires with the matching signals from your old ECU or wiring direct to the clocks.

The second one is the complete Toyota wiring manual for the 2JZ both n/a & TT.

I used this document mostly on the computer, searching by name for any signal I was unsure of & verifying its original routing in the donor car.
