NOT HAPPY! :(

How the F! do you bleed the power steering? So after re painting the engine bay getting it looking all nice and clean so far ive had half the rad coolant sprayed all over the bay and now half the power steering fluid over everything! Now I have to strip everything back out and clean it all looks a bloody mess! :banghead:

Anyone know how to bleed the steering?

Bleed the steering? I asume you have strange noises coming from the power steering? before doing anything sit stationary and full lock right, full lock left. full lock right, full lock left over and over again. You'll find this should eliminate the noises.

Edit: I took the cap off and thats when the entire content off the resevoir covered my engine.

Mate , cap has to be off , otherwise the air has no where to go ! Do it slow lock to lock !Or You build pressure and when you take the cap off it will just happen again ! Cap off all the time until done

I had the cap off then started the car and walked round the front to find the fluid squirting 2 foot in the air and by the time I switched the engine off if was everywhere.
