looking for a good headlight refurb guide.

Has anyone refurbed their headlights lately? I have uk glass ones on the car which are like new but i have a set of j spec plastic ones in my garage which are as yellow as Jeremy Clarksons teeth so i thought id try my hand at doing a refurb. I intend to split them open and paint the inners (prob charcoal grey) and give the plastic a good polish then seal them again. I had a good guide saved in my favourites but its dissapeared . Anyone used a good guide with pics lately? Also whats best to seal the lights shut again? I was thinking black silicone?

I'm with you on this, i need to crack my facelifts open and do the chrome bits. I have a heat gun and some tiger seal, should do the job?

I like having a hobby tool close by as removing all the hardend remaining seal gives a better and easier re-seal. I'm sure i have the walk through here somewhere. Just remember to not leave them in the oven for too long or hold the heat gun too close for too long.
