Best Exhaust & Decat Diameter - BPU

Hi guys, I am interested in getting my JSpec Supra TT up to BPU level and was wondering what diameter exhaust piping & de-cat piping would give the best gains. 2.5" / 3" / 3.5" /4". The noise doesn’t really bother me.

I have seen the WhifBitz exhaust & decats are 2.5", but wasn't sure if it would be to restrictive. Was also considering a Blitz Nur Spec but not sure the size of these. I think the 4" might to large for BPU setup and might offer little ground clearance.

Please advise.

Cheers

Hi Paul, can you give me a price on your 3" double decat pipes, and the 3" exahust (single box) please.

I am not sure if you offer discount to club members, but if you need my member number let me know.

Cheers pal.

Hi mate,

2.5" will be fine as you'll need to fit a 2" restrictor plate anyway so personally I dont see the point in running 3".

2.5" decats with restrictor £228 inc VAT, discounted club price £205.20 inc VAT, in stock.

I can have 3" specially made for you if needed though, £268.60 inc VAT, delivery time about 2 weeks approx.

3" single box exhaust £409.50 inc VAT, discounted club price £368.55 inc VAT, in stock.

Delivery £24 inc VAT on top.

Cheers

Paul

Or I could save you £24 delivery Rick by picking them up for you on one of many trips down south.

I am actually down there Tuesday if you go for the 2.5" version!!!

Just to remind you, I have 2.5" decats into twin 2.5" outlets.

I would go with 2.5" decats with a twin box 3" for your car. Think the single box would be too loud and not in keeping!

My tuppence worth, anyway.

I found the NUR was quite droney...especially on long runs.

Not tried Paul's but the best I have had is a HKS Super Drager for Day to day use on a BPU.

I have an HKS Hiper Ti at present and it's so loud I'm fitting dynamat to the interior!

A 2.5" decat makes a lot of sense. You may even get away without the restrictor ring with smaller dia decats.

Cheers for the prices Paul, I am definately thinking the 3" Single box, as I want it to be usefull if I added a few further modifications after BPU, without having to change the whole system again.

How much can you do the Blitz Nur Spec R for?

Cheers

Cheers for the offer mate, really appreciated. Just need to decide which system I really want, think it would be the 3" in either the Blitz or Whifbitz system. Really like the sound of the Blitz Nur Spec R, but it just a case if its worth the extra money over a Whifbitz system.

Will keep you posed.
