The Hornet
Father has one and has decatted it.. Question is: When the CAT is in place the sensor is positioned at the rear end of the CAT. So when its plugged into the decat unit will it not tell the ECU / ECM that the car is running rich and lean off thus reducing the power ? Chris Wilson
Thhe sensor you are talking about is merely a cat overheat thermocouple to tell the ecu the cat is about to melt. As no cat is now present just tie-wrap it up out of the way. DO NOT remove it or cut the wires to it. No need or point in having it in the exhaust. I probably know more about GTS-t's than i do about Supras, so if you need any help or work doing, just shout.
