Ok guys. Ive had my car a while now and have decided to start a project/progress thread.

I had always wanted a Supra ever since I was 6 when I first got Gran Turismo for the playstation. I didnt have any exact things in mind when looking for one but decided on an SZ Auto.

I saw it on ebay and bought it over the phone with the seller. These pictures are from the add.

I picked the car up on the 18th of October from Ipswich after flying down and drove the 440 miles home and before I hit the motorway I was in love with it.

It came very stock with only UK17s and a Toyosports Cat-back exhaust system which does have a very nice note. The car had done 72,000miles although still reads KM/h.

The first mod that was needed was to remove the rear foglight and wire it into the rear cluster. For this I had the help of Liam (L18msy) (who has alot of mentions in this thread lol).

A few weeks after this I bought HID's and facelift indicators which Liam fitted for me :D

I went for a long period not doing anything to the car but was getting bored of the UK 17s so bought a set of Mania Racing Vortex Evolutions from driftworks which changed the whole look of the car.

Thanks to Geo, Tony TT and Ian, the car was given a full service the weekend before pod with new Plugs, O2 sensors, Oil and coolant which made a noticeable difference to the car and that was how the car was at Suprapod this year. The fastest time I ran was a 16.28.

So again thanks to the generosity of Liam who offered me his old Tein Superstreets which he has replaced with BC coilovers. They have been in my garage for a while but I have finally got round to fitting them today and having a Geometry setup done by Kenneth Brown Motor Engineering which has totally changed the car's handling. It sits alot lower now (with some minor rubbing issues) but I can feel the power going down alot better.

So my plans for the car from here:

Facelift front and rear lights

LSD

6 Speed Gearbox or R154

Full respray

Front lip

Carbon Ridox spoiler

TT transplant and BPU

Roll-cage

Shine auto diffuser

Nothing is decided and I change my mind nearly every day so we'll see how things go. It is a long-term project as I'm still a poor student but want to build the car into exactly how I want it

More updated to come in the future, cheers for looking
