Swampy442
Got a set on the Soarer when it arrived, in presentable condition, all centre caps and nuts, tyres are scrap. Any ideas?
straightsix
Nobody pays much for them on here. I had a set in excellent condition that nobody was interested in so I listed them on eBay and got £85 for them in the end. I had another set sprayed black (with no centre caps) that went on here for peanuts
johnny g
I gave mine away matey. Might be best weighing them in?
straightsix
I'd try them on eBay first but don't make any plans for early retirement yet
Josh42
I got £38 for weighing mine in....
Darragh
I bought four with just about illegal tyres for £30 center caps and nuts as well, once I've murdered the tyres id say they will go and get recycled, no one wants them
Ian W
Mine went to an MR2 owner for track usage...think I got £40 for them all those years back!
Swampy442
No probs, was just curious. Will probably just keep them for winter wheels then
Chris Wilson
Yes, keep them for the winter, they are just the ticket in the wet or in snowy conditions. personally if i had another TT I would have it on 16 inch rims all the time, they are just SO much nicer to drive in give and take conditions, especially on bad road surfaces, and there are enough of those! LOGIE
Ive been rolling on stock 16's since i got the car 4 years ago. Untill reading the above post ive always been ashamed of them. Dont feel quite as bad now
Chris Wilson
They're great, far less chance of putting it into a wall, and a much better traction on bad surfaces, and in the wet. I sometimes (rarely nowadays) jump into a customer's Supra without looking at it, and it drives *beautifully*. It's usually unmolested on 16 or at worst, 17 inch stock rims and decent quality tyres. No need for shame, they shout the owner values efficiency over styling to me
TubbyTwo
Do these fit over the UK front brakes? or is that 17s only?
ManwithSupra
Do these fit over the UK front brakes? or is that 17s only? 17's only I am afraid dude.

Swampy442
Indeed Chris, in a Soarer at least, a car with 16s and stock suspension is a very nice place to be
