bad idle after changing manifold and throttle body

Is it bad to adjust the throttle cable a bit to up the revs a touch?

Yes, you'll just be masking the symptoms rather than fixing the cause.

You can cause a bad idle by having the TPS adjusted too far - there is a switch in it that tells the ECU that the throttle is closed and it should go to the idle control strategy instead. If that switch is never triggered due to the adjustment of the TPS then the idle will be controlled by the tiny default opening of the idle control valve.

I didn't know you had an emanage, get it idling and datalog it, then put it up here. I can read it and see what's going on :)

Rats, that's annoying. Without the right cable (serial -> USB) you won't be able talk to the EMB. We could have seen what the MAP sensors were reporting.

It's the one near the PAS tank. The one on the inner side of the TB at the front of it is just for the stock traction control. You can try adjusting it all the other way as well to see what happens but it'll probably get worse.

Have you got the MAP sensor for the EMB installed as well? Is that plumbed in okay? Depending on the ecu map, it could make it overfuel.
