bigbloodyturbo
I suppose I should just leave this to my mapper but I'm interested in how this works. I got my syvecs s6 installed on Sunday and after a quick call to Ryan (thankyou very much for your help btw) I got over a few teething issues only to find my AFR's mental rich at idle. We had to pull fuelling right back from the base map that I got sent which was specific to sard 800's just to get it to idle. Now my injectors where bought from another member on here and were sold as sard/denso 880's but when they got flow tested and cleaned they came back at 800cc/min. Does anyone have any ideas as to why it would be pig rich? the only thing I can find is dead time that sard quote as 1.6 but my base map has been set at 0.9@12v. Rob_Mitchell
I have 800cc Sards in mine, mine ran mega rich on startup and did cause a problem when hot BUT ryan soon sorted it out in 5 mins by pugging the laptop into the syvecs. Its is very common that the Sards leak past there seals i have been told
bigbloodyturbo
I'm sure the mapper will be able to do something about it it's just i'm interested to know what the issue would be. I replaced all the seals when fitting them to my rail (new seals on pintle end, new orings above the inlet screen and new anti-vibration orings, surely if it was leaking past the seals it would pool in the intake and I would get surging from time to time. Do you remember what you set your injector dead time to?
