r2ck_p
Hi guys, just curious, was comparing a friends Auto UK Spec TT and my Auto JSpec Supra TT at the weekend and noticed that the UK one had this in the engine bay and my JSpec didn't. Any idea what it is?? Also why does the UK have two accelerator cables and JSpec just has one ? Cheers Edited August 6, 2012 by r2ck_p (see edit history)

ripped_fear
Could the other accelerator cable be cruise control related?
DannoSupra
Black 'object' is resistor pack for injectors, and the 2nd throttle cable is for Cruise Control

r2ck_p
Black 'object' is resistor pack for injectors, and the 2nd throttle cable is for Cruise Control Cheers for the response. I know the UK spec has larger injectors but why does it need a resistor pack and JSpec doesn't?
Alex
Lo impedance injector drivers vs. Hi Impedance...require different electrical signal strength. J-spec = Hi-Imp UK-spec = Low Imp It's like when you put an LED in, instead of a Halogen indicator, you have to add a resistor in-line to cut the power and stop it flashing too fast. r2ck_p
Ha, all that extra weight with your resister packs, heated seats and bull bar headlight washers Cheers for the replies, read up on Hi/Lo impedance injectors last night to get my head around it. Yes the other cable must be for cruise control, mine has all the connections and fixings but no cable.
