tooquicktostop
The car goes into garage whifbitz at the end of the month to have a single kit fitted as well as a new high flow fuel system, before that the car goes to Dave for new coilovers and a big brake kit fitted Question is I want to do this properly and have taken some key learns from previous mistakes I have made, some of them costly as well, I have brought an oil cooler and twin kenlowe fan set up, I have since been thinking perhaps I am better sticking with the stock fan (fluidyne rad) ? I also read that an oil cooler lowers oil pressure which I don't see as a smart move, would you leave the fan as stock and not fit the oil cooler
sdistc
Main reason for fitting the electric fans was space considerations - they don't necessarily outperform a (new) clutch fan, but with a bigger aftermarket radiator there often is too little room for it. johnny g
I've got an SRD rad and stock fan/shroud, plenty of room there, Dean. Chris Wilson was saying the stock fan is perfectly fine, might sap 3-5bhp though!!
Luxluc
I've got a big PWR rad with stock fan/shroud. No problem at all. I wouldn't change the fans unless you want a cosmetic upgrade of the engine compartment. A big rad is more than enough.
Kaan W
Im changing to a twin electric fan simply because the viscous fan is ugly. I would think the bigger alloy rads would help cooling even if the electric fans suck less cfm over stock but im no expert.
