RB-GTE
I need to buy a Fuel Pump asap, as I'm looking to get my BPU setup up and ready by next week. I just had a question about the Fuel Pump. I am currently set on getting a Walbro 400lph. Is this overkill for a BPU car? I read that it is generally recommended for cars with about 450bhp and up. With BPU I think I should be just under that. If its too much what should I get? Walbro 255 ? I will eventually probably go to a smaller single, but the plan as of right now is run on the stock twins in TTC mode. Also will the pump be a straight drop in? or any mods needed to be done?
tooquicktostop
Hodge has just put a Denso pump up for sale, that would be perfect for BPU, you won't be over 450 bhp, more like 400 Edited August 5, 2012 by tooquicktostop (see edit history)
Nic
Walbro 255 will be fine with stock turbos and small single.
mellonman
a 255 does suply enough for a 520 bhp car i changed im too the 400 and had to bypass the fuel pump ecu to give the pump the 12v it wants to run but some people have not had too
mwilkinson
Has anyone with a single run a walbro 450 yet? Edit - That was quite a rude thread hijack. I'll keep it there though. As above 255 will be fine or a stock pump. More than enough for a BPU car.
