Radio
Some SOB has put a small scuff on the edge of my front bumper at the trafford centre and I' am having loads of trouble trying to match it. Its the so called Super Red. Code on id is 3L2. Its an 95 UK TT. Ordered from toyota and it comes as Super red 4 (code 3L2) but its not the right colour. Halfords do a Toyota Super Red 2 (not tried it yet) Any REDS out there that can help will be greatly appreciated. Think someone should invent pop up bollards and ticker tape to surround our cars so no one can get too close.
Nic
What is the paint code on the VIN plate?
Mario
Ren red or 3L2 tend to fade after time when yours is from 95 and still on the factory paint its difficult to match up with brand new 3L2, you could also try to bring a sample to someone who can match up the color by scanning the sample you bring in. Think of an fuelcap cover or something.
Dnk
The only issue is bumpers and fuel caps tend to fade differently, maybe find a decent paint shop that has coiour chips and a paint scheme and match it that way Edited August 5, 2012 by Dnk (see edit history)
