MrRalphMan
Does anyone else have a problem with their hose kinking and stopping the water flow every time you move it more then 2 foot? I washed my car at the weekend and was getting rather upset at having to wave the thing around to get the kinks out every few minutes (and the hose). Any good tips? tbourner
I've got an unkinkable hose!! It's good when it's got water in, as soon as it's drained it attempts to trip me up and wrap itself around my leg/wheel/bumper whenever possible!! Don't know where we got it from. MaveriK
I am soo glad this topic was started as i was starting to feel a dumbening coming on. Slightly different problem. I have one of those taps that faces down and have wedged out and got the correct fitting that basically you tighten up to the top to get a seal. Problem is that during the washing process i will start to lose water pressure only to go into the kitchen and find the adapter has slipped a tad and a high pressure stream of water is covering the bleeding kitchen. I have tried everything that i can think of to stop this happening but am getting close to being a beaten man
tbourner
Do you use a thing on the end of the hose that can turn it on or off and different sprays and stuff? If you do - DON'T TURN THE SPRAY OFF!!!! That'll do it! Mine does it too apparently something to do with the plumbing in my kitchen can't handle the pressure there's no pressure sense or anything it just shoves water out the tap regardless!!! MaveriK
Will give it go, on the plus side the kitchen has never looked so clean
JustGav
Go to B&Q and get one of those kits where you screw a tap onto the copper pipe, it is self drilling and sealing... and gives a proper tap on the end.... From then on you can use a tap, and windy up hose... Gav
Guest Sakura
I've got an unkinkable hose!! Me too - only it is more kinky/able than the one I replaced. Absolute rubbish

Supragal
are you using hoselock attachements for this? thats what i've got and it's never undone itself, blown off the tap, leaked etc even when i turn the spray off at the nozzle end. it does kink though. my GOD how annoying is that? Cheap hose though, the good ones dont do it at all, or at least as much apparently.
Paul
Got my hose from Screwfix, 30m for about £11 I think? No problems with it kinking up. Paul
RICHARDA
Hozelock do three different grades of hoze, the one you want is the yellow type (the most pricey) was happy with mine till blasted hoze pipe ban
China Man
http://www.screwfix.com/sfd/i/cat/73/p1550173_l.jpg I got the above from maplin and it never fold or kink but the jet is restricted but the small diammeter of the pipe....... in the other word, the water is not as strong as normal pipe
Paul
http://www.screwfix.com/app/sfd/cat/pro.jsp?ts=00370&id=17050 Try this, 'Construction quality'. Had mine for years and it's as good if not better than Hozelock at half the price. Only downside is it's got 'Screwfix' written down it every six inches Paul
Ewen
got a Flash 'auto dry' thingy for my thirty sixteenth bthday....tips for those so impressed with 'Jacko' on the advert - washing a Supra = COOL....using a Flash gizmo = wearing slippers and smoking a pipe (according to my kids)....its very ungainly as well and when combined with said kinky hose it turns into a bit of a Mensa test...works though (dont tell anyone, but the ionising water works with normal car shampoo as well)
