pedrosixfour
The cases will be tight to remove from the centre plate due to the dowels and the sealer between the faces, if you don't have a way of holding the gearbox securely while working on it then even removing the casing will be a proper PITA, tackling anything else to do with the synchros, seals or bearings without a decent (ie very big and very secure) bench mounted vice will be an lesson in pure frustration. Having said that, if you are sure there isn't a bolt you have missed or the casing isn't just tight on the dowels IIRC the restrictor pins in the gear selector housing need to be removed and the gear selector itself may need to be loosened on its shaft to allow the case to be removed. Believe it or not I might have a good example of both of these items in my parts bin. I may dig them out and inspect them, if they are useable I'll let you know.
