RB-GTE
This is how my car currently sits: ARC intercooler with greddy bov on piping HKS intake 3" exhaust HKS boost controller I just purchased: Walbro 400lph fuel pump midpipe and top decat pipe (both 3" to elimate the whole cat) AEM wideband AEM turbo gauge HKS fuel cut defender Also will go with a higher grade spark plugs and some new oil... I just wanted to do everything at once. Anything else recommend to get for my BPU setup? I do plan on running it up to around 1.2bar and in TTC so want to make sure everything will be running healthy. RB-GTE
Restrictor ring. Oh yes, I already got a machine shop to make me one of those based off an exhaust gasket with the 2" hole through the middle. - - - Updated - - - Restrictor ring. Guest Budz86
Fuel cut defender otherwise when you hit around 1 bar the ECU will cut the fuel to prevent the turbo's over boosting
Guest Budz86
Ignore me, just re read that and you've got an HKS one! Doh!
BOB B
You would be better with UK 550 injectors fitted,
st3ven1
You would be better with UK 550 injectors fitted, Then you would also need the 550 resistor packs and a fuel controller. Otherwise you risk over fueling the car. Not really worth it for bpu if you ask me.
tooquicktostop
1.2 bar with 440 injectors is pushing it, you will be going a bit lean at this level
BOB B
Yes, maybe not if he only wants 1 bar, I just heard talk of fuelling probs at 1.2 or upwards,
listy
Better to be safe and go for a 1 Bar RR and a boost controller set to 1.1 Bar. Eliminates chances of boost creep that way
RB-GTE
I do plan to go single in the near future so I'm not going to touch the injectors while I'm at BPU. And the power difference between 1.1 (16psi) and 1.2 bar (17.4psi) is quite minimal ? I may just stick around 1.1 to be on the safer end. HadeS
You will see from your AFR if you are safe or not. I can't see upgraded cams, any head work or bigger turbos so 1.2 bar should be no problem for 440cc injectors.
tony tt
Stock intercooler would be more efficient for bpu as well. Once single i'd fit the front mount.
