Brazil
Guys, I just changed my coilover and bushings in all suspension parts, but now I have a problem that when the car goes over 2k rev it feels like it cuts the fuel and the car staggers. The ABS light stays on and the Traction Control Slip light flashes. I have tried resetting the ECU by disconnecting the battery for 5mins. Removed Fuse EFI Number 1 I am not sure if I have successfully managed to reset the ECU or not as most of the instructions online are for pre facelift models. I am currently trying to work out error codes but am fiding it very confusing, I believe that there must be more then one error code which is making it harder for me to figure it out. Any suggestions...
Nic
You've probably disturbed/disconnected the wiring for one of the ABS sensors, if the ECU doesn't get a signal from a sensor it will disable the ABS and the traction control. http://www.turbosupras.com/pages/en/pages/specifications/JZA80/a80tsrm.htm
absz
pull out the traction fuse in the engine bay fusebox and see what happens, to me it seems that the traction control is detecting slip might be a faulty abs sensor or trapped wire
