drift_bear Posted November 24, 2014 Author Share Posted November 24, 2014 AS some of you will notice i have not listed the HKS big twins for sale, Im just going to go for a big single set up now instead and use the rest of the money i whad for the build to finally get my own place. Theres some other "behind the scenes" problems, that has also forced my hand in finally getting back into my own place again! Will have a new set up soon hopefully, just waiting to hear back from Lee regarding what turbo set up and etc we will be going for. I#ve been trying to get my own place for a few months now and having no luck, so needing extra money for a bigger deposit. drift_bear Posted December 9, 2014 Author Share Posted December 9, 2014 As some of you know the car was up for sale due to needing funding for a house, that has been sorted to a certain extent so the car is staying and ive managed to secure a nice "little" unit to store it and the VXR8 over winter and the following months.. Test fit using the bmw Then comes the Supra and now it's all tucked up in its new home for winter! Let the fun and games begin.. Since its xmas I also treated the car to a set of harness' to run, I have no idea if they are genuine but I got them for a good price! drift_bear Posted January 6, 2015 Author Share Posted January 6, 2015 Now that xmas and all that is out the way. It's time to focus on the build more now and keep putting away money to the side. I managed to get a large lock up for the car so I have plenty of room to sort little bits and bobs on the car over winter! First up was I bought a set of trd harnesses before xmas, so got round to fitting them the other week, I wasn't sure on the colour but they actually look great once in the car! I've also finally got round to putting my supra badge back on the rear of the car! Safe to say it looks different now lol It's finally booked back into the body shop to get the little niggles sorted and get it looking 100% again! It will have the following work done to it - Front bumper cut and fitted proper Dent in bonnet removed Mesh painted black in the wings Lower part of the stock sides painted black Spoiler resprayed and some minor scratches removed Once all that is done then I can carry on getting stuff bought for the big build!
