ok ok fair enough suppose that is OK as you did get rid of them other wheels

lol

Might put them back on just for you :p

Massive improvement on the previous look mate, I too prefer the look with ears.

We need some better photos though...

I was running late for work, so only grabbed pics with my phone lol

Looks much nicer! More clean and cut look. Only thing I'd change is either the wings to stock or put a darker\back mesh behind the wing.

That's the plan, black mesh at some point

I agree with Abz black mesh would look much better in the wings, plus it would match the front lip.

That will get done :)

LOOKING very nice.

Cheers clay :)

Looks like a totally different car DB, very nicely done bud :). I am definitely feeling the ears on this one

Thanks sunny, hopefully make it down to a Glasgow meet soon

Quick question in regards to the respray Alex, did you get new seals put in?

From what I'm led to believe, but it's a piss poor respray tbh, not happy at all!

I got asked this in anther thread, so thought it would be best replying here...

Looking good. Mind if I ask what's so bad about the respray and have you spoken to the Bodyshop to try and have them rectify it?

  • The front bumper doesn't fit proper on the drivers side and leaves a gap between light and bumper
  • There's a paint blister on the drivers side air duct on the bumper (by the intercooler pipe)
  • Rear spoiler wasn't prepared or sanded back after being painted
  • Engine undertray wasn't ecured back on, so has just caught my tyre and is now in bits (just been cable tied back in place untill new one sourced)
  • The stock side pods and trim were paint fully in silver (not putting the bottom half in black)
  • Wing mirrors weren't removed for spraying
  • Door locks weren't masked up (i now can't see the LED green ring on the lock)
  • Various paint cracking already on the front bumper
  • Dent on the bonnet not sorted

I only noticed these yesterday once i was home and gave the car a good clean, before i could call him and tell him what i found, i was running late for work! It WILL be getting sorted proper once im back from JAE next week

Bollox - Sorry to read this mate. Car looks awesome in the pics, but if your not happy, tell them.

I'd send them a email, so they have everything in black and white, then call them too.

Make sure tell them asap, otherwise they'll wonder why you waited until after JAE.

I've been busy with work and today has been spent working on the supra, so not really had a minute to myself really :(

Heres some proper pictures for you guys, the rest an be found in THIS THREAD

Mate, that's really bad. When I had to get the rear bumper sorted a couple of years ago, my garage had it fully resprayed, and back to me in 10 days!!!!!

They also painted a bumper, TRD spoiler, and bonnet for me in 3 days.

Whatever that garage were doing to your car, it's not what they should have been doing.

Quick question.......did you check the odometer reading at drop off and collection? Something smells rather fishy, bearing in mind how long it took them.

It's inly 1 guy that works there, I drove the car into the workshop and the only time it seen daylight was when I took it out. I know he never drove it further than 30meters
