nero
Titan Motorsports has developed this bolt in rollbar for the 93-98 Toyota Supra. Produced from 1.75“ 4130 Chomoly, this roll bar is 100% bolt in and requires no modification to the vehicle and is compatible with both targa and hardtop models. The base plates of this durable roll bar are produced using precise laser cut and formed panels, before being tig welded to the mandrel bent chromoly tubing. This bar allows the factory seatbelts to remain intact, while also facilitating the installation of multi-point race harnesses. It should be noted that on targa vehicles, the storage of the targa top in the trunk is compramised when this bar is installed. An integrated strut tower bar in the rear provides for additional chassis rigitiy and replaces the need for a seperate strut tower bar in the rear. All bars are powdercoated for a durable finish in your choice of 4 standard colors, with custom colors available for an additional $150. Standard Colors : Matte Black, Gloss Black, Silver, and Gunmetal $1600 http://www.titanmotorsports.com/titan-mkiv-supra-roll-bar.html http://site.titanmotorsports.com/blog/wp-content/gallery/Supra-Roll-Bar/TMS-Supra-Roll-Bar-1.jpg http://site.titanmotorsports.com/blog/wp-content/gallery/Supra-Roll-Bar/TMS-Supra-Roll-Bar-2.jpg http://site.titanmotorsports.com/blog/wp-content/gallery/Supra-Roll-Bar/TMS-Supra-Roll-Bar-3.jpg http://site.titanmotorsports.com/blog/wp-content/gallery/Supra-Roll-Bar/TMS-Supra-Roll-Bar-4.jpg http://site.titanmotorsports.com/blog/wp-content/gallery/Supra-Roll-Bar/TMS-Supra-Roll-Bar-5.jpg http://site.titanmotorsports.com/blog/wp-content/gallery/Supra-Roll-Bar/TMS-Supra-Roll-Bar-6.jpg http://site.titanmotorsports.com/blog/wp-content/gallery/Supra-Roll-Bar/TMS-Supra-Roll-Bar-7.jpg http://site.titanmotorsports.com/blog/wp-content/gallery/Supra-Roll-Bar/TMS-Supra-Roll-Bar-8.jpg http://site.titanmotorsports.com/blog/wp-content/gallery/Supra-Roll-Bar/TMS-Supra-Roll-Bar-9.jpg

Ian C
Is this for rollover protection or just for the look?
nero
It will help in a rollover, as it is a structural piece. It also will stiffen the car up substantially and add safety points for harness mounting. I will get some interior pictures of another one installed and upload them soon Is this for rollover protection or just for the look? nero
Back seats can be used, we can make any custom variation of this cage at additional cost. This cage is made to be shipped and so its a bolt together assembly that can be shipped, we have done a similar bar for the GTR and ship them worldwide
RobD
When you say back seats can be used, do you mean they can stay fitted OR you can actually use them to take passengers? I very regularly have my little girl in the back and an adult on the other side, if this will allow me to still do this without it being a pig to get in and out I'd be interested in one! nero
Back seats are fitted, if you want people to get in and out then we can make a removable center bar if you requrie. We don't typically suggest taking passengers if you got a rollbar in the car though. Ian C
It also will stiffen the car up substantially It's held on by all of one bolt at the front legs, I'll have to call you on that claim
sideexitsupra
It's held on by all of one bolt at the front legs, I'll have to call you on that claim Unless he meant the rear only? Thought they would have tied this into the upper seat belt mount too.
nero
Great, when would you like to order one to test it back to back, to see for yourself That is a critical area of the car, the lower seat belt bolt position. Its meant to hold yourself in at a very high rate of speed or G's in impact and not fail, its a very strong point in the car to tie the car into. Its also a better solution then trying to drill/cut the floorboard to put plates in. It's held on by all of one bolt at the front legs, I'll have to call you on that claim
Dnk
I'd like to see a supra with one fitted crash tested ! The bolt to restrain the driver/passenger is one thing but the extra load it'll get if the car flips and takes a hit on the roof is another Edited July 27, 2012 by Dnk (see edit history)
nero
Realize this follows the SFI spec's for rollbar hoop, so the bar is meant to be made to handle the crash. the bar is also mounted to the floor as a weld in bar would be as well. Our staff has built numerous race cars and focus's on safety as the main priority when building cars or parts. With that said, if you would like to buy a bar and crash your Supra to test it, we'll be happy to give you a discount to test the bar. But the discount will come after you show us your crash test. hahahahah I'd like to see a supra with one fitted crash tested ! The bolt to restrain the driver/passenger is one thing but the extra load it'll get if the car flips and takes a hit on the roof is another
