How to remove dashboard ducting?

Right guys, I hope you can help and have my sanity and hands from being cut to ribbons. A few months back I damaged the passenger side alarm sensor that sits on the passenger pillar and have recently got a new one to install. Now this involves finding the after market control box and so removing dash panels.

That bit I think I can handle, at the same time it made sense to have a de-clutter of all the junk cabling that was behind the dash. So far I have removed two sunvisor TV screen control boxes and an amplified ariel for the analogue TV tuner on the head unit. Now I want to remove the defi heads up display unit that has been unplugged since I purchased the car and tidy up the wiring elsewhere.

As you can see it's a bit of a bombsite at the moment....

Is there any way of removing the ducting for the air vents without removing the whole dash? as the wiring seems to be hidden behind it.
