Tyson
This is the new Supra: http://www.lexus.co.uk/design-innovation/lfa/index.tmex Nope you are wrong, the supra has always been an affordable fast GT car the LFA is an overpriced supercar so they bare no relation. Saw a black one up in the lakes and thought it looked quite tasty. Whether I would have one or not is another matter.
Kirk
Its successor to the AE86 hence the name GT86. Is it really that difficult to understand?

However, I have always said the gen7 celica should have been rear wheel drive, and it looks like Toyota have finally decided that too. About time a new mid size Jap sports coupe came about imo. Lets hope its a sign of more (bigger and beefier) things to come

alex2jz
Possibility??? 2015 Supra Noooooooo ! 3.6L 3JZ-GTE I6 Twin Turbo, 450hp+, Getrag V162, 6 or 7spd manual, RWD. Only this can be a successor to the MKIV Supra. They should call that concept ( if it ever gets out) Prius Sport Eco or something, not Supra ! qwarrior
Don't like the GT86 at all, might have been that the first one I saw was in a Bronzy Brown colour. There were rumours that the "MKV" supra would be powered by the 4.3 3UZFE if I'm not mistaken, due 2014, unofficially.
benkei
I saw a GT86 on the drive home from work last week. I have to say I wasn't 'wowwed' by it at all...
Bobbeh
I like it.. its all about the drive, I bet it's great fun around the bends and am looking forward to see it race in the BTCC next season.
Nic
You can see some of the Supra DNA in the GT86; the roof line, wing mirrors, rear arches, etc.
NathWraith
I test drove the GT86 on Saturday. Very nice car, stick like shit to fur around the bends and the handling and feedback are sublime. Toyota achieved exactly what they wanted form it for sure, doesn't feel like it lacks power IMO. It is a very different breed to the Supra though, if the GT86 is a scalpel, the Supra is a sledgehammer. Still amused that the sales staff at Toyota didn't know what my car was! I even took one of them out for a spin
sideexitsupra
Something for the anoraks. The exhaust pipes on the GT86 are each 86mm in diameter. Have seen a few on the road now. Black and red seem to look best.
