r2ck_p
Hi guys, how often or at what kind of mileage do you need to change the fuel filter on a Supra TT? Cheers, Rick
dan294
For what they cost, I'd do it with every service, or every 12 months.
Geo
many miles has your car done? And has the fuel filter been changed that you know of?
mellonman
i had done about 60k on mine so thought i would change it and it made no differance at all to my afr's,there is a wrote up stateing that the original toyota fuel filter is a life time filter in the way its made but,you wouldnt know if you had a original unless you brought the car new, so best to change it evry so often just for peace of mind
r2ck_p
Just checked my paperwork from the car and noticed it was done last year (Oct 2011) so I would guess no need to change it for a while. Cheers for the replys though.
Digsy
IRRC the fuel filter is a "B" service item, which means every 27000 miles. It might be worth doing it more frequently simply to keep the unions free, as once they corrode up it can make getting the filter off very difficult.
