best way to tighten crank pulley bolt.

Last time I had access to an air gun, but won't have that this time. I also don't have a torque wrench.

Any ideas? Is it safe to do it pukka tight using a breaker bar? I'm guessing the answer would be no, but thought I'd ask.

I managed to source one that my mate uses to tighten the wheel nuts on his hgv. He said it goes up to 400 nm. Is that going to suffice? Iirc they are torqued to 320nm? Or is it 320 ft lb?

 

The info from much wiser than me is in the link in my last post, but basically,

 

"Toyota Service Manual states 330 N·m (3,300 kgf·cm, 243 ft·lbf)" thats for a j spec and I think there is a slight variation for the UK specs but yes your mates one will be fine.
