r2ck_p
Hi guys, my insurance have agreed to put an agreed value on my policy, but need somebody in the trade to fill out a few boxes on a form to confirm its value, the insurers have suggested somebody in the automotive industry, Supra specialist, club moderator etc... Can anyone help me with this. Not sure if they would need to view the car in the flesh or I can just post the form to them. I am based in Manchester so if it needs to be viewed anyone around here would be preferred. Cheers, Rick
Geo
Isn't an agreed value of what you think its worth? not someone else?
dan294
Who've you insured it with Rick?
neilp9876
I had this last year and was hoping the club would help provide valuations but it never happened. You need to find an independent garage that doesn't actually work on your car but they're hard to find. I think you can also take lots of photos and try and agree with them personally but I don't know how hard that is.
Dnk
My agreed value policy from LWIB was purely done with high quality photos 6 in all and a full list of everything done to the car with approximate costs and my own assessment as to the cars condition. listy
My agreed value with sky was just done by listing modifications and they gave me a value and asked if I was happy with it.
r2ck_p
Geo - My insurance want some kind of proof of the agreed value. To make sure it is realistic, in all honestly anyone who knows anything to do with the car can value it I suppose. They said a club mod would be fine. dan294 - Footman James pal, very good with regards to the price neil - how did you end up getting yours? They want pics and spec list aswell. Dnk - if I can't get someone to do it, going to have to ring them see if there is anyway around it
dan294
May be worth asking Pixelfill or Rob Wild at the next meet maybe?
Havard
Will they accept an opinion from a moderator on an internet site? I doubt it. Better to go to a garage or dealer who knows nothing about Supras...FFS..!! Lynbrook agreed the value of my car on the basis of 6 photos. 3 outside, engine bay and two of the interior. H.
