Faye
Does anyone know anything about these little cars? My best mate is about to start driving lessons, and has taken a shine to the Figaro and wants to know will it be a suitable car for when she's passed her test. I've been trawling around the net, but there doesn't seem to be a whole of info out there (please, someone prove me wrong ) She doesn't want to go fast - my slow old NA makes her feel ill! She needs it to be reliable as she doesn't have money to throw around. Insurance, what would be the damage for a new albeit older driver (she's 27) I think they come with PAS - is this correct? Toytown
Hi Figaro's .... I am no expert but have seen a lot on my travels to view / buy imports, here's a non experts view: 1.0 Litre Turbocharged, nippy but that's about it Most running gear is Nissan Micra so parts are plentiful Watch for rust (YES RUST !!) on outer sills Often the electric switch packs for window are missing (japs must like them as ornaments ) The original Raio / CD is a retro look unit, some get removed & replaced which IMHO spoils the whole idea of the car Here's an owners club site with lots of info ..... http://www5f.biglobe.ne.jp/~figaro/ Prices vary wildly !! The unusual colours command rediculous prices (often thought about getting one repainted for £600 - £700 & make a tidy profit ! ) Hope this helps a bit more
