LED side light installation question.

Wasn't sure whether to put this in tech or not.

If I got some led sidelight strips, could I simply cut the plugs off the sstock side lights, and wire them that way?

Or would I need some kind of resistor pack?

Link to what I've found.

Looking to replace the side lights, not use as daytime running lights. The ones I have are really yellow in colour, and when on kind of run the clean look of the front end imo.

Looking to place them in the outside vents in the ts bumper.

Either this, or just get led bulbs, but don't know the score with fitting them

As long as you are not taking the feed away from the turn indicators, you should be ok. The quick flash indicator will only happen if you are replacing your turn indicators thus having the need of a resistor. (Afaik)

Has anyone attempted this on a supra? I've never seen it done yet. If anyone has, can you post a pic/link?

If fitted properly and some thought to location, and not just stuck on willy nilly, I think it could look quite good, and be a nice updating front end mod.
