TubbyTwo
Hi folks, Changed the lambda sensor on the TT at lunch, and despite soaking the threads etc in plus gas for the last 2 days a stud sheered off when undoing one of the nuts. Bugger. New sensor is on and seems to seal nice and tight, car started fine and drives fine and doesnt appear to blow anywhere (although didnt try on full boost), any one local able to help with this in exchange for some beer tokens? Not sure what the best way is to tackle the job of drilling the stud out. Thanks.
Geo
Where is the lambda located again? Is it easy enough to drill and tap yourself? Well that's if you have the right tools? Edited July 17, 2012 by Geo (see edit history)
TubbyTwo
its on the downpipe at the back of the engine bay, drivers side under the turbos.
merckx
It's easier to remove the turbo elbow/ downpipe to work on it.
