SupraDan24
I jumped in the car Saturday morning to head up to Suprapod and the car randomly wouldn't start, i've never had an issue with it before. The engine will turn over no problem, it just wouldn't fire. The car was very low on fuel when i parked it up the night before, just a smidge above the empty mark, it was still running fine then. I have put 20L of fuel in it since then and it still wont fire. I have a few things to check tomorrow, i'm hoping someone could point me in the right direction. 1.) Which fuse is for the fuel pump, and where is it located? I checked quite a few under the bonnet that morning but they were all fine. 2.) If i have the ignition on, should the pump make any noise? It's completely silent at the moment. 3.) How do i check if the engine is getting fuel, can i just remove the fuel line in the engine bay and try starting the car and see if anything comes through? I'm going to dig out my multimeter in the morning and check to see if the pump is getting power, that should rule out a blown fuse, then i'll try the things above. snippyt
I have a walbro 255 (not that it matters) and I can't hear it prime when inside the car - but still worth checking I guess Edited July 10, 2012 by snippyt (see edit history)

TubbyTwo
Try the engine bay fusebox, and start with the ECU fuse/ EFi fuses. Mine had the same symptoms and it turned out to be one of those. replaced it, started 1st time.
Swampy442
Try the fuel pump ecu bypass, only takes 2 seconds. Did you check the spark plugs, see if they're wet or dry? Would confirm if it's fuel or ignition.
SupraDan24
I'll check for fault codes today then. I'd also thought maybe the fuel filter/line was blocked Paul, i may look into that today as well. How do you do the fuel pump ECU bypass Swampy? I'll have a look in the FAQ's in the mean time. Swampy442
Paper lip in the diagnostic port, bridging B+ and Fp, but the clip will get very hot! Like I said check the spark plugs to see if they're wet or dry.

SupraDan24
I've just tried checking for Error Codes by bridging E1 and TE1 and the warning light doesn't even flash at all. I tried it with a paperclip and some wire, both times the light came on then went straight off. Does it matter that i dont have a Stock ECU? I have a Apexi Power FC ECU. SupraDan24
Told you it was the fuel filter..!! Probably still going to change that this week anyway Paul as no doubt running the fuel so low ended up leaving a load of crap in the filter.
