ray007
Update!!'. Tried using a manual ecu but no difference!! Please help Hi all Really relying on you guys for some advice Just installed a 2jzgte and w58 into a shell (also previously a GZ), and te car is only revving upto max around 4k rpm if revved gently, then kinda starts missing and feels like maybe a fuel cut or something?? If the throttle is pressed hard or blipped I get the same thing Two things im concerned with is I believe the fuel return line is too small (didn't have originals) and there is a hks fcd pre-installed but not sure if on the correct setting and I don't have the manual. Any advice would be much much appreciated, it's stopping me from getting ma project on the road. Thanks in advance :-) Edited July 23, 2012 by ray007 Update (see edit history)

Swampy442
Auto ECU? If so you're gonna have to look at the neutral/park start switch. If its not done properly you can get a false 4k rev ceiling. *As it happens I have a manual ECU if you get stuck*

And your saying of the connection is weak I may get them symptoms? Thanks a lot Craig I can always rely on you. And would the manual ecu work fine with a tt? Swampy442
There's a certain way of doing the mod that removes the 4k safety rev limit. Yes it came from a manual 2jz gte car. That will remove all the auto conversion problems
