sideexitsupra
Two huge thank you's from me to Jake Supra and Sakey. Had issues on the way to Suprapod this morning and have a suspected shot wheel bearing. Fortunately was only a mile away from my mums house in Northampton when the problem occurred. Jake followed me patiently to my mums and then took me over to Pod. We got there about 45 minutes after the rest of the convoy. Sakey (& co driver Kirk) kindly offered to get me to the North West and actually dropped me at home which was a 45-55 minute detour in total for them. Guys, hats off to you for your generosity in helping me out today. I am at your disposal if you ever need a favour! Thanks also for the advice from Keron and Paul Whif as to what might be the problem, admittedly only from my description of the horrible grinding noise coming from the passenger rear wheel area. The car is now locked away in mums garage awaiting recovery next week.
sideexitsupra
Quick update, The car is being collected tomorrow morning and sent to Paul Whif for diagnosis. Thanks to Richard at Triple T services (Whifbitz Time Attack / Eurosaloons sponsor) for doing this at short notice. Fingers crossed it turns out to be relatively simple and inexpensive to fix! NathWraith
Could be that the rear pads are shot. Happened to me before, sounds far worse than it is! Props for the guys helping you out though

keron
Glad you got home etc ok Tim. Let me know what the problem is...could be a simple fix like the rear brake shoe clips etc...these ive seen pop out and make a similar noise to a bearing as the show then grinds on the inner of the disk....
