Noise on front?

hazza

Recommended Posts

I have been driving around and starting hearing a noise on the front say if I go up and over a speed bump slow

As I come down it goes donk? Any suggestions?

I have a feeling it may be top mounts? Or maybe ball joints?

But other than that I have no noise when on a flat road.

But won't know till sat when I take it In to my uncles garage but just wanted to know if you guys have had similar noises ?

As said it might just be the subframe bolts that need tightening, do you get a clunk maneuvering slowing on full lock? as that's usually a symptom of loose subframe bolts.

Suggest you get the car on a ramp and torque up all the subframe bolts to the factory specs, whilst under the car also check all the suspension arms, anti roll bars, drop links, etc, for wear.

It hasn't even been serviced recently.

I've got some drop links coming tomorrow il have a look, i bet it will end up being like the top suspension mounts or something,

Nah only over bumps I get it, no turning left or right!

I need a set of alloys badly got a wobble at 30 buckle wheel :/ ahhhhhh
