Littler Posted July 2, 2012 Share Posted July 2, 2012 (edited) Evening All, I'm looking at modding my front bumper so that the number plate can be hidden, similar to what David did on his immense build [video=youtube;k-ksSM2nr6Y] I've searched around and found a lot of US sites that sell these, does anyone know of any based in the UK, or where I can get a motor with a similar motion? Getting it done whilst the lip goes on would be a good idea Yep I've got a stock bumper, also picked up a spare to test And yeah I think getting it all done together with the lip will make the front end look good Just trying to find the best way to fill the number plate holes as they sink after a while - - - Updated - - - Those alloys are candy red...not pink! Having spoken to people I'm thinking that fibre glassing the back and plastic welding pieces of plastic matching the size of the holes in there could be the longest lasting method? So the plate was mounted and when moving forwards, the pressure just flipped it over. When I parked up I pulled it back down down again by hand. Hours of fun. I say hours...
