Japlover
Hi everyone, Well I've decided to fix up the Supra before selling it again, and as it's being fixed I'll also be driving it (if we have ANY decent summer) and wanted to know best place to get some temporary cover. Say, 3 months tops? I wasn't sure if there was a specific type of cover I could go for, or do I just do a 12 month plan for 3 months and cancel? Feedback welcomed! kokoro
Hey, One thing I'd say about taking an annual policy and cancelling - sometimes your insurance company will try to front load your cancellation with a load of fees (especially if early in the policy). My old policy on my old car wanted to charge £100+ for cancelling. I kept that car on the drive a bit longer and then cancelled, which ended up only costing £24. Re temp cover. I'm not sure if companies do 3 months, but I used www.tempcover.com to insure my Supra for 24 hours when I went to collect it. It was really resonable and one of the only companies who would actually consider insuring a Supra for a short time. They do 1-28 day cover. Not sure if they do longer. I did all mine online and got the documents straight through on email which is excellent if you're away from home. Hope you get sorted. Ian W
Need some temporary cover for like four days on a modified car. Sadly, the cooling off period on my policy ends tomorrow hence I need temp cover. Any ideas?
