skippyboyo1
Took me the best part of a day faffing around getting it to line up and sit staright but looks awesome now its on. No was shocked at the quality for the price of the thing! If you hold the side bits up to the light you can see thought the carbon! Plus the brackets/ fittings are weak. Plus just to warn you I didnt get enough nuts so had to get some more so check before you start. Just put the same at the same time so must be true!! skippyboyo1
This will make sense when you came to fit it! And will help, think jake used it for reference. It's the bits you will need, I didn't get any screws with it. I didn't use self tappers either.

Plus just to warn you I didnt get enough nuts so had to get some more so check before you start. I did notice you could see light through some bits of the side fittings , know other carbon parts ive had in the past have been the same so thought nothing of it. bonus we didnt pay full price then i guess. The weve of the carbon is far from tight, so much so you can see through it. If you drill the holes that are marked out it won't fit, also something that surprised me was the side you can see is actually the back so not the best looking side. I think they look good hence me having one but I was less than impressed with the actual finish. so the side fittings fitted correctly makes the carbon side sit on the inside? how odd ...thats the side you want on show ! also ill make sure my paint shop guy knows to check the fittings before drilling if they dont line up brilliantly. skippyboyo1
It's the bottom part I mean not the sides, would have been nice to see the carbon on both sides
ripped_fear
bonus we didnt pay full price then i guess. also ill make sure my paint shop guy knows to check the fittings before drilling if they dont line up brilliantly. They don't line up at all on the bottom where the two parts join, so definitely get him to work some magic. And exactly we got a good discount, the moaning I'm doing is by no means reflecting on Paul, he set up and supplied them for us and thank him for it. How ever I do think Shine should improve the quality. But at the end of the day, it is a 'cheap copy' of a very expensive part by top secret. If we had bought a £100 replica of ebay we would expect the quality to be even worse so its all relevant.
DaveR
I'm liking the purple accents here, matey. Good work! Out there, but kinda subtley so. Good luck with the diffuser...
skyline1
Thanks for the comments and tips on the the diffuser , sure they will all help when it comes to fitting Can see where your coming from about them being cheap copy's but still alot of effort has gone in to these which is shown I think, maybe a little more effort could of been made as mentioned .... I'm happy though but will try get some info from the guy when he fits it for me. ...... Maybe ill look for some purple anodised bolts for the diffuser.... That would look good I think. skyline1
Diffuser is all fitted now and looks awesome , glad i got it fitted this year as it would of bugged the hell out of me if it was sat in the garage till may time when the car comes back out on the roads. was a good fit too, one side that fits to the rear arch needed trimming slightly but apart from that there were no real issues, the HKS super dragger exhaust made it a little arkward for one of the brackets but was worked around easy enough with very little trimming off the diffuser too. Vortex generators really set the car off too ....makes me wanna go spoilerless even more now and just have a little carbon lip instead. http://just.razzi.me/photos/914843/e230955.jpg http://just.razzi.me/photos/914855/5ac2b5f.jpg http://just.razzi.me/photos/914866/bf1c397.jpg http://just.razzi.me/photos/914875/fea84fb.jpg http://just.razzi.me/photos/914885/bac6d02.jpg http://just.razzi.me/photos/914899/4ab20e5.jpg http://just.razzi.me/photos/914912/ffcb72a.jpg http://just.razzi.me/photos/914926/bc87c2e.jpg
