Guest telram
Hi all, About a week ago my car died in the middle of a WOT pull, and since then won't start although she cranks normally. I have fuel but no spark at the moment. I've diagnosed the ignition system as per the TSRM and everything seems normal (although coil pack resistance is a little higher than spec). See below for an extract from the TSRM and what I've tested to date: That said, I noticed today that my 120A Alternator fuse was blown. I also have done a Big 3 upgrade a while ago, and have a 4 gauge wire running from the Alternator to Battery directly. I don't know why the fuse popped, but seeing as I have the green wire in place now shouldn't AM1 and the Ignition Switch still receive power? At the moment, this seems to be the case because my windows work with the switch to ON and the fuse blown. Maybe I don't understand how current flows, but does anyone have any thoughts on this? listy
Are you sure the batteru hasnt *nearly* died, so there is enough power to crank the engine but not to fire?
Guest telram
Yes, the battery is fine. I got it tested yesterday and she was in good shape.
