_Shane_
I have my coilpacks out , my cam covers off at the moment as they are been sanded and resprayed etc I received my hks turbo timer in the post the other day and i was going to fit it this evening, wire it up and make sure its working, Might be a stupid question but i want to know can i turn on the ignition (just the dash lights) and not start the car while the cam covers are off the car? sideexitsupra
Just turn the key to position 2 and don't engage the starter motor?

_Shane_
thats what i was thinking, just turning the key to light up the dash and get power to the turbo timer etc Thanks chaps
Swampy442
Personally I'd throw the turbo timer straight in the bin... But hey, that's just me. Do not start your engine with the cam covers off, unless you want a spectacular oil shower.
_Shane_
was never going to start the engine but i wanted to double check before i even turned the ignition to on
Kaan W
Do you need to replace the gaskets after taking these off?
