_Shane_
Just wondering how much would a wire tuck under the bonnet cost? Thinking about getting this done over here to my supra but i havent got a quote yet
SupraDan24
Depends alot on how much you want doing tbh Shane. Wire tucks can vary quite alot depending on how far you want to go with it. If you want to get it done in Ireland your best bet would be too take it to a few different places and get some quotes then post them up and see what's what. Your number one priority should be finding somewhere decent though, and preferably familiar with Supra's or you may end up walking away with a bill in your hand and faults in the car that weren't there prior. _Shane_
Hodge and Parry's engine bay looks sweet i must say
Parry_10
Not worth the hastle it will only end up costing you a lot of money unless you do it yourself and you will end up with problems. I wouldnt go down that route again, I would tuck the aux loom under the wings thats it. Maybe remove some simple parts like the charcoal cannister but once you start with it all it becomes addictive. JamieP
I would not bother, I don't even like the look anymore, a good clean is all that's needed for a nice bay.

Funny enough I thought about having this done years ago but now have gone off the look of it and like my engine bay how it is
_Shane_
maybe when i have some new bits fitted i might just keep it that way, a nice clean engine bay is always a bonus imo
hodge
I think it looks amazing if it's done right. It just finishes the bay off nicely with all the ugly wiring hidden away. There's a few bays in the club that look exceptional IMO and the tucked wiring just finish them off very tastefully. But I am a little bias I suppose
Dnk
Looks stunning and as long as its done properly so you dont get and wiring issues then it gets my vote
Rob_Mitchell
I think its still the best mod that can be done. Fuse box in the boot or glove box is a must mod.
listy
Where do people hide all the wiring? I'm guessing in the wings? Looking at maybe doing this over the summer as I have 6 weeks off
Bossco
Yeah most goes in the wigs mate. I agree with Hodge and Rob, it's a great mod and hides plenty of ugly pieces. I've not had a single issue since mine was done.

Chris Wilson
Whilst I fully appreciate the work people put into these engine bay customising jobs is it really worth spending a lot of money on aesthetics like this when what most Supras really need is a new engine bay loom, as the old one is tired with broken connector shells, loose and corroded terminals, fraying loom tape wrap, and years of gizmo adding, fiddling and abuse? It's like people bolting single turbos on engine's that are really wanting a full rebuild as they are already tired and in their dotage. Plus, if a fuse blows putting the lights out on the motorway, do you really want to be stripping down the front end of the car to get on your way again? Or are they all show Queens with no need for practicality to be considered? Just my 2 bobs worth
SPG
It's not something i would consider doing myself but i can see the appeal to other's as it does look clean.

PS pump to the front. Just want to hide the wires though, not too fussed about the rest yet (until I get some shiney bits)
FOSTA
Yeah my fuse box is also in the boot, I was just about to fit it under the headlight then thought " I really couldn't be bothered to pull the light just to get to a fuse!" so in the boot it went, along with the battery. spikedjack
I think I'll be fuse box and battery in the boot soon and maybe hide the igniter, and drivers side relay box for the nice clean look! Is there any downside to ditching the charcoal canister?

Is there any downside to ditching the charcoal canister? There's a few thread's about charcoal canister removal, have a search. From reading some of them if you don't vent the pipe under the car the fuel smell can get inside the car. That seems to be it.
