Jake
We were stripping my blown engine with it hanging from an hoist. I was underneath and undoing the torque converter bolts while my father in law was holding the TC and turning it so I could get to eack bolt. When I undid the last bolt and the TC came loose my father in law was not ready for how heavy those things are and he dropped it onto our tarmac driveway. I guess it fell about 2½ feet. If I hold the TC and shake it I can hear a clunking noise. Is that normal or has the fall killed it?

Jake
Is your dad OK?? No John, he's dead. Why do you ask? It was my father in law that dropped the TC. I didn't mention to him that he's probably cost me several hundred pounds. He was trying to be helpful and he's a nice guy so I just bit tongue as we watched the TC rolling down the driveway. Aerotop Dave
But have you noticed how angry Jake has been replaced by helpful nice Jake over the last few months on here? I'll be honest - I used to think he was a bit of an arse, now he's easily in my top 5 people on this board.

Guest Ross9
Scrubs is without a doubt one of the best programmes ever. Dr Cox is excellent, though the Janitor is a legend in his own right. Ross
