_Shane_
I have an after market exhaust on my supra but the back box imo i would like to replace, dented, looks crap etc My question is this, if my exhaust is say 3'' back and the new back box i have has an inlet tip of 2.5'' will this make a difference in performance if i connect them together? I dont know the answer to the above so thats why im asking if someone on here who does know the answer Thanks
listy
Not sure about that far back mate. If it was, say a 3" downpipe to a 2.5" 1st decat, it would act like a RR, but at the back box, not sure if it would matter. Just realised i Have been no help whatsoever
_Shane_
Only thing i ws thinking about was the back pressure and would it be affected, just wanted to double check before i went about fitting it etc
Nic
Any effect will be minimal, if it does reduce the boost pressure then just increase the size of the hole in the restrictor ring/adjust the boost controller.
