spikedjack
Cheers dude, its lovely, a million times better than my last supra, an absolute pleasure to drive. Only changes i've made are modifications rather than fixes, which is the way things should be! Just goes to show, pick a good importer, spend the cash and have the patience your 13+ year old car will rival that of most 6 month old cars on the road. Had her up on a ramp today just to check everything was nice and tight after the suspension fitting again and it still looks brand new under there, top job on the undersealing. spikedjack
I would have to be offered silly money to sell lol, the only car i'd want otherwise is a GTR and sadly, i'd prefer the supra and a house so that aint gonna happen! spikedjack
Well yesterday the hid kit from Japan finally gave up the go The flickering was driving me nuts so decided to fit a spare kit I had from my last supra (8000k). And fitted: Nice and rewarding knowing I'd saved a kit as a spare and they were needed! Maybe they'll improve vision also as the kit that came with the car were terribly dull on dark roads
spikedjack
Just ordered some Do-Luck braided brake lines for her, will buy some decent fluid next when I get chance to grab some and start searching for some nice pads. Any suggestions on pads? Daily driven, fast road use and mild track use when I get chance. Something like a ferrodo ds2500 would be great but I can't seem to find a listing? supra-mike1984
Jack have you had a word with Chris Wilson? His Fast Road pads are reputed to be very good
spikedjack
That is an option yeah mike, just wondering what people suggest, would like a varied choice from opinions lol! Had a bad experience in the past with Mintex1144's after everyone raving about them that's all
supra-mike1984
Can't fault with doing that at all mate. Quick car these, especially when BPU'd and the only other thing with being able to put good power down on the road is also being able to make it stop efficiently!! Lol
spikedjack
100% bud, I'd rather do it right! Will give the calipers a lick of paint and new graphics while they're off too
Westy
CW Fast Road Pads are the forum choice mate...been alot of people who have asked this in the past. Poterfield also seem popular but I think they are more expensive. Personally I'm just sticking with OEM as they do the job and are a fraction of the cost. Good fluid and new braided lines - job done! dan294
I had EBC Redstuff on mine. Again, mixed reviews on them, but once they were warmed up they were spot on.
Westy
p.s. Your signature has said 44k miles for a long time...do you ever drive it!?
spikedjack
I used ebc yellow stuff at the nurburgring and loved them albeit on a sub 1000kg fwd car. CW may well be the choice to go for, sorry westy but I don't rate my stock Toyota pads at all, fade rather quickly even on the road!
spikedjack
p.s. Your signature has said 44k miles for a long time...do you ever drive it!? That's what it was when imported I think I've done a good 5k in it now, daily driven
Westy
I don't rate my stock Toyota pads at all, fade rather quickly even on the road! Really!? I still have the same pads in that the car came with from Japan...and they are great! Assumed they were just the OEM ones as the car was stock upon import, but I'll have to double check that then!? Ahh...I did wonder re the mileage...mine was imported with 42k miles I think and is forever creeping up!
spikedjack
Definitely worth a check, I think it will be a nice brake refresh and getting it stopping as it should have done when Toyota made it! Although, the 1998 onwards RZ abs system is pretty awesome with the yaw monitoring etc!
jazz1
I have CW pads no problems.

spikedjack
These arrived this morning, took their time considering they were in stock. Never mind, can't really be bothered fitting them with snow on the ground lol!
