TubbyTwo
Hi all, Firstly the car is an NA-TT auto with a Toad Ai606 fitted. I need some help with the car, what started off as just a simple job of removing a gauge pod and 2 gauges (boost and oil temp) and a turbo timer has turned into a mini nightmare. I have removed all dash panels as they need repainting and I intend to move the oil temp gauge to where the clock currently lives in the dash. I have removed the turbo timer and its connector that was spliced into the ignition loom under the steering wheel, this was fitted by just stipping back wires on both parts and splicing together. I have removed these from the loom and taped up any exposed wire. So logically this has just been put back to stock, now, spliced into the turbo timer "loom" was power to the HKS EVC and the 2 gauges. As all of this is being removed and was now no longer needed, the whole lot was clipped and removed. I have put all the earths back how they were minus the ones removed, the car is in park and everything works EXCEPT it wont actually start. The car turns over but wont fire. I have checked and double checked everything I have done and I cant see anything cut or disconnected that wasnt before and I havent touched anything belived to be alarm related. Same as before if the car is left without the key in for a min or so it wont even turn over (until the car is locked then unlocked with the alarm fob) which i assume is the immobiliser working, this happened before I took everything out. any help would be great /vbb/images/smilies/bbcode_sad.gif /vbb/images/smilies/bbcode_sad.gif Thanks all

ashbuster
should be fine without the rest of the dash in bud mine works fine anyway, you just have no indicators when the hazards switch is unplugged lol and no dash lights with the dimmer unplugged

TubbyTwo
I have removed so much dead wiring its untrue, so I might actually be able to get near the fuse box now.
