RedM
I think this could be answered within the other big auto thread but I didn't want any reply to get lost amongst the post. I seem to be revving to between 6000-6500 when moving into third poss. fourth (I can't feel all the changes so I'm guessing based on speed). eg. just been out on private road and doing about 75 I floored it an the rev climbed to 6400 before changing. This was also downhill if that makes a difference. I have no other problems with the box TBH. Is this a sign of impending trouble?
ardasaliah
If you floor it- the box will change down if the 'change down revs' are below the rev limit. Sounds normal to me. If I floor my car it changes around 6500.

RedM
Stop being a women I hope that isn't directed at me Mr. Canny I think I know what the problem is. It's BPU-itis. I'm already thinking the car feels slow and want it to feel as fast as it did on its first few days:D It certainly wasn't hanging about this evening though.
