RobD
As above, after fitting the Greddy lip it's sitting way to high for my liking so I'm opting for a set of Coilovers! These are pics of the billies in question.. No idea on the mileage on these or what lowering springs they have fitted, they're a real nice ride though! RobD
I think most of it just mud etc in the pics also!
Dnk
Why dont you get the damper machined and drop the spring height, just like CW does
RobD
Why dont you get the damper machined and drop the spring height, just like CW does I didn't know you could tbh! How much does that usually cost?
Dnk
No idea what CW charges but well worth giving him a call. It just requires cutting another undercut into the damper body to drop the spring height so wouldnt think it would be very expensive and to be honest it would be easily done by any half decent engineering comp with a lathe
RA28
I have seen a Bilstein coilovers sleeve on eBay that converts the damper to adjustable coilovers. you would need new springs but the sleeves are around £60 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/COILOVER-CONVERSION-KIT-FOR-BILSTEIN-INSERTS-/260891894733?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3cbe5e63cd#ht_500wt_689 Edited June 13, 2012 by RA28 (see edit history)
RobD
I think I'll just get a set of Coilovers
Kirk
But you already have a set of coilovers on the car
RobD
That's maxed out and still aren't low enough!
RA28
But you already have a set of coilovers on the car I think he means adjustable coilovers
Dnk
Call CW and save yourself some cash and keep one of the best dampers you can buy on your car rather than fit one of the cheap adjustable platform kits that you really dont need
Kirk
I think he means adjustable coilovers Yes I'm well aware of that. I was merely being a penis because me and Rob are secret man lovers... True story.
