Maybe its a sign of these cars getting old, the club scene is a huge part of why i have stayed with Supras so long, if thats not going to be there anymore maybe its time to move on, I cant see R35 owners complaining about fuel costs. Haha i have got to laugh at your post as i have noticed in a few threads that you are really keen at getting an R35 i think you just need a little push in that direction, well i must admit that i will be buying one myself this year but i will be keeping my supra too as i just can't part with it as they are such a good car and it takes something special to beat it. Id rather keep my supra, its just the meets seem to be getting thin on the ground, the excitement around the meets seems to be gone, ive hardly used it this year, no ace cafe meets anymore, the fairmile bbq is gone an all, i wish i had done dragonball now. I think its also the lack of people willing to organise events that is causing the problems. Lui is always there for events, and I'm doing more of them now just to keep them going. I will organise a pub meet or two in the coming months, and perhaps a trip out to Thurxton for the classic F1 thing thats going on there. The meets are something I'm really enjoying now. Well i can't comment on the club meetings as i have never attended one myself but thats because i spend most of my life overseas, but it's not too late to organise a quick trip to the nurburgring ring or down to lake coma or garda it's one thing you just have to do if your a petrolhead is a good road trip with plenty of beer and good company i have done it myself many times with my friends.
