Angry Acorn
HI all, was wanting to know if I can safely put 10mm spacers on the standard studs and fit the rims or will I need to change the studs for longer? Thanks
safcdixon
Depends on the wheel style, if the wheel is thin around the nut hole then you may have enough thread to secure it, you would be better off with hubscentric spacers but think the smallest you can get are 15mm
Angry Acorn
hubscentric? :blink:whats that? i just need the spacers because my new rims arn't clearing my brakes in the front
safcdixon
hubsecentric spacers bolt on too the hub, then you bolt the hubscentric spacer to the wheel its a much better way of using spacers imo
Monkpower
What are the strongest hubcentric bolt on spacers available?
safcdixon
Do you mean longest? I had 70mm ones on my rx7 a couple of years ago
Swampy442
The ones in the pic are not hub centric, theyre just bolt on spacers. Hub Centric ones have a lip that matches and supports, the inner bore of the wheel, essentially doing the job of the hub.

Monkpower
I mean which make of spacers are considered the best for strength and reliabiity. Eibach, H&R etc...
Jellybean
Hub centric below, the ones in the pic above are Lug centric ; Get hub centric, H&R and Eibach are reputable brands The Supra is 60.1 bore, H&R wont have the Supra model listed but the Lexus Gs300 is the same fitment http://www.bimmerperformancestore.com/store/pc/catalog/H&Rdetail.jpg

safcdixon
Yeah you're right the ones in the pic are mine, I was showing the bolt on part, the ones Ive got on are the ones I used too run on the front wheels on my rx7, I had too fit em too the supra when I upgraded to uk spec brakes as my wheels dont clear the calipers. Jellybean do you have a link for them in that pic?
